Orange Bus were asked by Newcastle Airport to employ our user experience expertise in the design of an interface for smartphone users which would put useful and relevant travel information at their finger tips.
Prior to starting the project, in depth research was carried out focusing on how to deliver the best possible user experience and the most seamless way to serve content. The user interface was designed to allow mobile internet users to quickly and efficiently access key information on the move. The interface promotes details such as the airport’s destinations and airlines, how to get there, parking, arrivals and departures, keeping passengers up to date with latest flight times and changes.
The final output of the project was a fully considered design for and approach to delivering real time information to smartphones and Androids for those on the go.
