I'm what is known as a BBC (British Born Chinese), I was born in Newcastle so I class myself as a Geordie. Even though I was born in Britain I still believe in valuing my roots. When I was young I struggled to learn Chinese and gave up, but after growing up I realised the importance of retaining a bit of my Chinese identity and so I worked hard to study Chinese by myself. It is important to note I am of the Cantonese variety of Chinese.

I started my life as a developer way back in high school as a hobbie, making websites for fun, I went on to study computing at both Northumbria University and University of Newcastle in pursuit of a professional career in developing websites. I landed my first job at TH_NK and was then snapped up by Orange Bus and have been with the company ever since.
