He who quotes others has no thoughts of his own to ... oh.
I was born in 1885, in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 1903 I enrolled in Copenhagen University. Initially my interests were philosophy and mathematics but the lure of a Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters competition turned my attention to physics, and I reported on the properties of surface tension in a 1905 essay which won me said prize.
Later, in 1913, studying under the great Ernest Rutherford at the University of Manchester, England, I published my model of atomic structure, based on my mentor's theories. It described electrons orbiting nuclei and the relationship between electron orbits and the chemical properties of the materials. I also posited that electrons could drop to lower orbits, an idea which formed the basis of quantum theory. You're welcome.
I now work for Orange Bus as a web developer. It's interesting enough and waaay easier on the brain than elementary particles.
In 2002, a team of psychologists attempted to convince me that I had confused my own early years with that of Danish physicist, Neils Bohr. I can only assume they were suffering from some kind of mass delusion, perhaps brought on by some shared trauma. As yet I have been unable to trace the event which may be the cause of their trauma, but out of concern for my fellow man I will not be deterred.
