Chris Rhodes, Non Exec Director

As Non Executive Director, Chris forms the guilty conscience of the business; challenging their strategy and objectives, and generally trying to keep them out of jail.

With over 15 years in technology, media and internet markets, Chris has helped businesses grow rapidly, by ensuring focus and vision during continuous times of change. In 2006, this included the development and launch of TalkTalk’s “Free Broadband” service in the UK, a product that transformed the way people bought their broadband; growing the business to over a million customers in their first year.

Chris is currently Vice President of Europe, Middle East & Africa at Radialpoint; a private equity backed company providing Digital Home Solutions to some of the worlds largest brands. He has overall responsibility for the company’s EMEA business, their aggressive expansion strategy and new European Headquarters.

Addicted to travel and photography, he usually has a cunning plan bubbling along that involves yet another remote location somewhere in the world, capturing his journeys in pictures along the way. In 2008 he spent several months trekking across Alaska with his girlfriend, while this year his team just returned from a successful ascent of Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world; raising money for ChildLine Online.

Chris is also a Director of Aspen Ventures, a portfolio investment house that specialises in the commercialisation and launch of new technology, media and software ventures.

Music mad, he’s played in a number of bands over the years, mostly too embarrassing to share online and has subsequently spent a significant amount of time scouring the Internet to ensure all photos and videos of this particular part of his life have been removed. Only one known example still remains………
