When Sophie decided on going to University, she had no idea which career path she would be going down. Although she knew she wanted to go to University, she didn't know what she wanted out of it, so she decided upon English Language and Linguistics. Which ended up being a pretty good choice! In her second year she needed to do a work placement, and landed at Evolution Festival, as PA to the director of the festival. The first year was so good that she decided to go back and do it again the next year. The second year is where she first heard of Orange Bus, when they were involved in the festival social media strategy including producing some exciting backstage footage.

But when it came to finishing Uni, she still hadn't found her niche, only that the Evolution Festival taught her a creative industry was where she wanted to be. She looked at all aspects of the industry to try and find the job that would be the perfect fit for her. After checking the Orange Bus website every few weeks, she finally found it - an advert for the Account Executive position. It was perfect, a chance to meet new people, work with clients, use her writing skills and above all - to get stuck into a new challenge and learn something new everyday. So she gave it a shot... and here she is, excited to see where Orange Bus is going to take her!
