the client's brief
Ringtons, an established tea and coffee business decided that after 100+ years of business it was time to fully embrace the internet. Working together we set about creating a digital strategy that would better represent their offerings online, and open up a new sales channel through e-commerce.
our approach
Ringtons was an interesting challenge. They had many different and distinct arms to their business, different customer bases, and used different branding across those businesses.
Orange Bus initially carried out a scoping study, to determine who their target audiences were, what online services would benefit them, and how we could best serve them.
Together we aligned the various businesses under a single modern up-to-date Ringtons brand. Separate businesses/ sections of the site kept their individuality, whilst maintaining a common "Ringtons" thread throughout.
An online shop was developed, a postcode tool for finding out when one of their delivery drivers from the door-to-door business is in your area.
In the end what has been created is a resource for tea and coffee lovers everywhere. A place on the web where Ringtons can share their passion, get their message across and sell their excellent products.
